Position Description: Director of Nursing, LTC - Challenging opportunity to formulate and guide services, and develop strategic course of action for facility and residents. Incumbent will oversee staff, plan for effective long term care programs and maintain financial responsibility for operational and capital expenses. Incumbent will, above all, guide staff and function as a quality of life advocate, supporting the Eden Alternative to develop an atmosphere that counteracts loneliness, helplessness and boredom. Care center supports 100 beds in a rural setting.

Requirements: This Nursing Leadership position seeks a Registered Nurse with experience in long term care. BSN is preferred. Progressive leadership as demonstrated through increased responsibility with similar LTC setting is also sought. Selected candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, both orally and written as well as a vision for care that respects resident's life choices and goals.
