Our client, a 500 bed acute care facility with planned expansion to 18 OR Suites, is looking for a talented Registered Nurse Clinical Educator with expertise in both perioperative services and clinical education to join the Professional Services Department in developing learning programs and providing clinical expertise to new staff and transfer employees; preceptors and experienced staff. Within a matrix reporting structure working closely with quality initiatives and coordinating annual competencies, the Nurse Clinical Educator's role will emphasize continuing education for Perioperative Services with the goal of professional growth and retention. The incumbent will provide pertinent courses to Perioperative staff using class room, didactic teaching along with computer based training. Requirements: The Registered Nurse Clinical Educator must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and several years of experience in Perioperative services in an inpatient setting. Client has a preference for CNOR designation. Additional experience required includes computer competence, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience in design and delivery of adult education programs.
