Position: Director of Pharmacy- Outstanding opportunity to contribute to a dedicated Pharmacy team within a small, forward thinking hospital. The role of the Director of Pharmacy includes budgeting, development of strategic plans for future growth, staffing and most importantly, excellent pharmacy service to patients. Reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for staff activities while acting as a working director, the incumbent will be challenged to ensure cost effective utilization of resources and develop plans for capital expenditures. The Director of Pharmacy will work collaboratively with nursing management, medical staff and other clinical and administrative staff in making positive decisions for patient care.

Requirements: Masters Level or PharmD graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program with several years experience in hospital pharmacy services, and background in leadership role as a manager, supervisor or director of staff pharmacists/ technicians. Clinical experience in preparation of IVs, TPNs, additional injectables as well as pharmacy clinical systems background is expected.
